It looks like the guided view has improved but is still not perfect. Also for the price, I would expect the images to be high quality. Instead, when you use guided view and the page zooms in, the text becomes extremely blurry and the image is not crisp at all. Would love if they fixed this.
Also cant search anything in the Browse section. Fix this please.
Seriously its taking 20% for one reading of my battery of an iPhone 6 that was not the case before. Please fix this.
...but it still doesnt delete offline titles correctly without minimizing the app first.
I love Marvel and even pay for subscription, but the quality of this app is questionable. I have been using for almost a year and I have seen things that worked fine before totally breaking completely with a new update. Come on guys if you want us to use it then test it before you release it. Hint its called regression testing.
Ive been using this for about a year and I love it. Tons to read and more added every week. But, its a little buggy. Its getting better though.
In the guided view, sometimes a little bit of the panel is missing on left or right. Makes reading hard sometimes. But the double-tap to exit guided view is always there. Excellent app!
Love the concept the app has had its ups and downs. I really wish theyd fix the download section. But its still worth every penny
This app works very well, most bugs have been fixed. Guided-type view is nowhere near as good as comixology, but is decent. The quantity of comics available for the price is pretty much unbeatable. Great for newbies, as I was when I started my subscription last year. I really wish the library had more options, like sort by series, sort by date, filter read/unread, etc. I also wish the library was easier to manage, especially to delete comics from my library.
A great way to read comics that keeps getting better with more issues added weekly and new features on the app. Worth the subscription.
I live for this app! The marvel unlimited subscription was the greatest investment Ive ever made. Yes, there are a few bugs, but they dont really affect me, so.... Im still happy! ;)
Love the app but it requires patience
Im enjoying the heck out the service this app represents: a fixed monthly fee to read all the comics I can manage, out of a huge back-library of Marvel titles, and new ones up to six months ago. (Which is fine for the kind of reader I am -- I dont need the latest issues.). Theyve done a lot of polishing of the app, and its functioning very well now, with regular updates adding more polish and fixing glitches. Good job, dev team, its much appreciated!
i love this app. it lets me read more than i could afford to buy, but allows me to still pay and contribute to the great work the creators do. also it gives marvel another vehicle to monetize their vast catalogue. i am surprised dc and image have not followed suit with a netflix-style model.
This app is great! The selection of comics to read is amazing and the reader works well on iPhone and iPad. There is the occasional smart panel that doesnt frame correctly on the text or artwork. Also I would love to see more options for sorting my personal library making it easier to find what Im looking for, instead of having to sort through over 100 issues. Group by series or be able to make folders that you can mark as read later, etc. would be a nice addition for me. Overall its fantastic!
Since password change, cant read any comics. Only gives me the 3 page preview even though my account is active. Customer service non-existent. Ripoff.
After the password update requirements I couldnt read more than 3 pages. Removing and then downloading again fixed that issue on iPad2.
This app is in serious need of an update. The Library has just one overall library with no chance for users to create their own lists similar to an album or playlist. I’d like to be able to separate my Star Wars comics from the MU stuff, etc. In addition it would be great to sort read from unread. Also it would be nice to be able to read storylines automatically in the suggested order from the curated lists rather than having to navigate back to Discover at the end of every issue because the next part of the story is not listed under the same title. Thirdly, there should be a way to subscribe titles to your library automatically as they are released. Finally, the recently read list on the home page should be able to sync between devices, so you could pick up where you left off if you were forced to stop reading in the middle of an issue. The premise is a good one and the subscription is worth the money, but the app handles slow, clunky and outdated. It’s time to update.
Hope all comic brands follow pursuit of a subscription. Considering I can read 10$+ worth of comics a day. 60$ a year is perfect.
