Login bug!

I cant log in even after updating password.

Always gets stuck

I have to restart the app 10 times before i can read something. If this keeps happening i will cancel my subscription...

New update

Cancelled my subscription. Cant login. Tells me to change password. I give up. I read this is an on spread issue, dont have time for this.

Seriously?

In the two years Ive had this app I STILL cant sort my library alphabetically? Absurd. "Smart" panel transitions cause many comics to over zoom and lose quality resolution or even cut off entire sections of text/dialogue. Doesnt come close to the standard Comixology has yet and it appears the folks maintaining this app couldnt care less... Very disappointing.

Updated, password problems persist

How can it be so hard to fix something SO BASIC?

It good, but

Can we get iPad Pro support please?

I take back every nice thing I ever said about this POS!

I have now completely had it with this stupid app! These idiots are incapable of keeping anything fixed on a permanent basis. Books wont download for no reason. The app cant count to TWELVE! Every time Ive ever had a problem, the only response I EVER get back is "Try logging out and logging back in." A- That NEVER works for any of my problems! B- How about you make an app that actually works? Ive never had any problem with Comixology! I have constant problems with Marvel Unlimited.

Password issues with latest version!

Normally Id be ranting and raving about how much I love Marvel Unlimited, but the newest version of the app makes it totally unusable. Every time I try logging in I get a password error message telling me I need to reset my password, but despite changing my password the problems persist. Emailed Marvel for tech support two days ago (because they dont have an 800 number to call for help. For shame, Marvel) and have still not heard back from anyone. Its not like Id like to use the service I paid for.

Super buggy

Cant download comics for offline reading. I get an error message when trying to read online. Im able to add comics to my library, I just cant read them. Tried logging out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling app. Didnt fix the problem and customer service was no help. Their troubleshooting was to redo what I had already tried.

Back in business

4 stars cause it is a great app but the login process can be confusing. I finally resolved my login issue by hearing back from support. Turned out to be "partially" user error because I forgot that marvel usernames are not emails addresses but a specific handle you setup at registration. Marvel should have a way to recover this handle or at least remind users that its not always email address.

Good Start

I like the concept, and the free content is very welcome. However it feels rough and needs improvements. Scrolling is the worst thing, compared to smoothness of Comixology. There is no smart panel to panel jump and page transitions are slow. Lots of data is bad, like a 2005 comic listing year as 0002 on last info tab. There are no star ratings to tell you what people think overall of that issue. When finished with an issue, there is no smooth way to go to the next one. Etc. Comixology, which hasnt had an update in a very long time, but is still the gold standard, sets the bar. Marvel, please meet it or at least integrate this pricing model with it. UPDATE April 2016: Still poor. Doesnt support basic iOS gestures like swipe from left to go back when looking at search results. Creator names arent clickable in tab to see more of their work. No iPad Pro support. Filter is almost unusable with a 3rd party keyboard, jumping unexpectedly. Cant click cover to see larger version in item view. Do I need to go on?

"Update Password" bug makes it virtually unusable

The app was great when it worked, but now pretty much every time I open the app it tells me to update my password before I can actually use it, no matter how many times Ive already updated it and successfully logged in with the updated password. Judging from the other reviews, Im not the only one having this problem, and the fact that they havent fixed this yet is kind of inexcusable for a paid subscription service.

Unfortunate

I think digital comics are a fantastic idea. You guys have successfully converted a lifetime comic collector.... But the app is really bad. Its super buggy, the comics dont fully load most times, and now I cant even login. Id pay a monthly fee but not until it is fixed.

Great app

Only issue is not being able to scroll all the way to the bottom of a page when my phone is upright

Amazing

I love comics, and this app is great. There are a few kinks here and there, like when Im on my iPad and I click "more of xxxx comics" and it doesnt always bring me to that, it will bring me to the authors or illustrators. Also, I really wish there was a "mark as read" feature that allows you to toggle in and out what youre seeing, that way you know youve read certain items before. Also the smart scrolling is hit or miss on some comics.. Im reading the age of apocalypse series now, and its hard to navigate when youre going not reading it all in one sitting Also, I wish a lot of the back issues were in, like X-Force, whyyyy isnt that in there?!?! Either way, I love this app, I love the comics. Keep up the good work! This is so perfect for comic book readers.

100 new passwords later

Still wants new passwords. MONTHS of this. If only Disney wasnt such a poor company...

Great Archive, Terrible App

Great selection on back issues. This, while a truly awesome thing, is the only good thing about this app. Its buggy. It takes forever to load. It takes forever to load a book. After reading one or two issues, I usually have to reboot my entire phone to be able to read a new one.

Pretty Good

This app definitely has a lot of bugs, as other reviewers have mentioned, but I still like it a lot. If youre kind of new to the comic book scene, like myself, and want to catch up on back issues of marvel comics without hunting for them in stores or paying a fortune, paying the $10 a month for marvel unlimited is definitely worth it. There are thousands of series to choose from and they have a lot of good stuff on there. Trust me, youll never be bored

Needs work

Im new to comics, so Marvel Unlimited is perfect for me. But with thousands of comics available there needs to be an option where you can check off the ones youve already read. Its a basic feature to have.

Needs improvement.

This app is pretty good overall. Its like Netflix for Marvel comics, with a huge back library. Comics are added about 6 months after they hit the stands. If you have a good internet connection (better than DSL, obviously) the loading times are EXTREMELY quick, and you can queue up up to 12 books to download in the background and read offline. I see why they did that, its the reading equivalent of streaming video. Now, the bad parts. Sorting the comics in your personal list is TERRIBLE. You can only sort by release date. Good for crossovers and such, TERRIBLE for reading whole series. The ability to re-arrange things in your library like you can in apps like Comic Zeal would make this app PERFECT.
